Snowden Latest to Mock Trump. Why Trump is Right & Sanders is Wrong…

Whistle-blower Edward Snowden is echoing Bernie Sanders, after presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump backed down from an offer to debate the Democratic presidential candidate.

Who would have imagined Donald Trump’s greatest fear was an economic debate?
Sanders has also addressed Trump regarding his backing out, asking him on Friday what it is that he’s afraid of.

It’s clear to me that these aren’t the only two attacking Trump for his decision not to debate Sanders. I’d like to address that decision now.
Bernie Sanders is not the Democratic Presidential nominee. In fact, the chances of him becoming the nominee are rather low. Sanders knows this, and the “smart” advisers who’ve positioned themselves around him know it as well. So, everyday they plan the next day, over and over, just to not fall further behind.

One day, probably not too long ago, while the team is trying to devise a plan to gain ground on Hillary, the advisers begin to think outside the box. Instead of attacking Hillary and trying to convince her brainwashed followers of her true identity, turning the focus to Trump could push some of the “on-the-fence” voters in their direction.
This was probably the birth of the Sanders Trump Debate. Jimmy Kimmel is brought in on the plan because he doesn’t at all mind pushing Trump into a corner. This is the birth, and this is where the discussion of the possibility of the debate really takes flight.

Of course, shortly after Sanders’ appearance on Kimmel’s show, Trump was brought on. I would guess that Trump was not warned about the line of questioning to follow. This is where Trump is publicly pinned into the corner, forced to answer without discussing the pros and cons of the debate with his advisers.

Trumps explains that he’s “willing,” then adds a stipulation. The networks must offer up money for charity. This could be legit, but it’s possible Trump was simply planting a back-door through which he could exit if advised to do so.

I would argue, considering the fact that he did, indeed, back out through that very door, that he was advised not to do the debate. I completely agree with this decision, and agreed with it before it was even made publicly.
The fact is that Bernie Sanders isn’t the nominee. He only wants to debate Trump because of the off chance he’ll win the debate, in which case his popularity would shoot up astronomically.
Since there are no certainties in life, barring death and taxes, it’s possible that Trump could lose, which would significantly hurt his chances. The 8-15% of Sanders supporters who plan to switch over to Trump if/when Sanders drops out are going to switch regardless. Trump doesn’t need to fight for them.
There’s nothing in it for Trump, and Sanders stands to gain huge.

If Sanders somehow becomes the nominee I would expect the debate to happen, but until that day, I don’t expect to see Trump and Sanders share the stage.
